Tonight, let’s take a warm bath with the intention of relaxing our bodies. When we create a calm and welcoming body, our heart and mind can unwind by settling into our body.
Create a cosy atmosphere without making this a chore; if your bathroom is not mostly tidy and clean, just tidy up what is needed to have a hygienic bath and a serene view. This is not the time to wear yourself out. Feel free to light a candle, put on soft music or use fragrant bath oil.
Lie down in the bath and release your thoughts of the day. Feel your body relaxing in the water. Caress your whole body and enjoy the pleasure of bathing. If you have no bath, take a foot bath while sitting on the chair where you journal, massaging your feet. After bathing, note your experiences in your journal, attending to your physical and emotional feelings and exploring your mind and body.
